Sumatra Mandheling
This Indonesian coffee has a deep, earthy flavor with an unrivaled smoothness and extremely full body. Java City sources only unwashed Mandheling beans directly from the north- and west-central regions of Sumatra and roasts them to a medium profile in order to accentuate their intense, full flavor.

Did you know? Sumatra, the western-most island of the Indonesian archipelago, has a coffee-growing heritage dating back centuries. The Dutch were the first to begin cultivating coffee in the island's fertile, volcanic soils. Coffees in Sumatra are dry processed and then meticulously cleaned and sorted, owing in great part to their unique taste and flavor profile.
