Primo Espresso
A blend of Central American, African and Indonesian beans for a delicate espresso taste. Primo Espresso is the key component of our café’s specialty beverages. A custom blend of exquisite varietals are roasted separately to perfection and then blended together for an aromatic, smooth-bodied shot with subtle nutty overtones. Traditional fine Italian espresso is noted for its complex flavor, medium roast profile and impressive crema. This quality is achieved by sourcing beans that offer excellent mouthfeel and a crisp bite and roasting them to a medium level. Primo Espresso also can be drip-brewed for a delicious cup of coffee.

Did you know? Many espresso blends include a percentage of Robusta beans. Robusta has long been a pariah in the specialty coffee segment as it is usually very coarse, with few positive flavor attributes and a heavy dose of caffeine. The reason that is used in many blends is to add a touch of crema to the blend. Java City has taken another path, sourcing only the finest Arabica beans from around the world to reproduce that mysterious and much sought after crema.
