As the birthplace of coffee, it is fitting that Africa produces some of the world’s finest coffees. Kenyan coffee is noted for its sharp, fruity, sometimes citrus-like flavor due to its high acidity and full body. Java City light-roasts this East African varietal to protect its lively, aromatic nature.

Did you know? Kenyan coffees graded AA are the largest, most evenly graded beans, and are the most highly sought-after in the world of specialty coffee. Kenya’s temperate climate, volcanic soils and seasonal rains provide some of the best coffee-growing conditions anywhere. Many great Kenyan coffees come from small farms that wet-process their coffee cooperatively. An uncompromising focus on high standards by the Coffee Board of Kenya ensures consistent quality.
