ART FOR KIDS'
SAKE
A BLEND FOR THE ARTS
Since the fall of 2004, the California State budget has had
virtually no money allocated towards art education in our public
schools. Likewise, there has been a 50% decline in enrollment
of music students from '99 to '04 *.
Today, most funding for art education comes from private foundations
or parent / teacher groups and is predominately found in affluent
neighborhoods.
In the city of Java, art is passion that cannot be relegated.
With our Art for Kids' Sake program, Java City is committed to
art education in our public schools. Java City, Sacramento's
only hand roasted specialty coffee company, will donate $1 for
every bag sold of Art for Kids' Sake coffee to the Crocker Art
Museum and Mondavi Center's public school art outreach programs.
'A Blend for the Arts' is a hand roasted medley of fine Central
American and African coffees that we air cool slowly to lock
in their distinctive flavors and aroma.
ART FOR KIDS' SAKE FUNDRAISING
Art for Kids’ Sake is also a viable fundraising product that can provide revenue to support art related programs.
